Like all secrets our parents tell us, it is something that devastates. Something that consumes. And something, that ultimately, does not matter

Donut ellipses

The Bagel game is a 2-4 player game about the truths our parents lied about, and bagels. Lots and lots of bagels. It's inspired by the movie Everything, Everywhere, All at Once, because with a username like @jobu_tupaki how could I not. The system was designed based on the structure of a tesseract, a 4th dimensional object.

A splendid and bittersweet treat made of growing pains, familial angst and physical play. It's also the saltiest game I have read. Bagel!

This game is brilliant, and I don't use that term lightly. The way the visual design and dice mechanics reinforce the multiverse-hopping theme? The way the sharing of GM-authority creates the complex intergenerational family dynamic that is the emotional heart of the game? The way it is both irreverent and silly, while also being emotionally authentic and a genuine love letter/homage to Everything Everywhere All At Once? This game is so cohesive that it just blows me away.
